We identify and measure weather impacts on operations and to support government and commercial organizations with solutions that help mitigate these impacts, ensuring safer and more efficient operating environments.

As a prime contractor for the FAA Aviation Weather Division, we understand National Airspace System requirements for weather research, mission analysis, concept exploration/development, concept alternative analysis, capability shortfall identification and prioritization, modeling and simulation, prototyping, pre-operational trials, operational trials and demonstrations for NextGen.

Located in Reston, VA., with a satellite office in Washington, DC. Our team is comprised of experts in a wide range of fields that include meteorology, mathematics, operations research, software engineering and systems analysis. Most of our senior staff has more than 25 years of experience in their field of expertise. In addition to our staff, AvMet has access to key subject matter experts who are available for consultation when they are needed.
